METAL PROCESSING PRODUCTION

(Grades 9-12)

Prerequisite: Materials Processing

This half credit course will allow students to explore a broad range of metal processing
technologies and production techniques. Metal Processing/Production will broaden the student’s
knowledge and skills in the metalworking/fabricating industries. The students will gain experiences
in advanced metalworking by designing and producing wrought iron, casted, and machined products
while learning various production techniques such as CNC Mills to speed production and better
quality control.
