Elective - Psychology I Course Description

Grades 11-12

 

Psychology is the study of the human mind and body and of what people think, feel, and do.  This introductory course provides students with the opportunity to study the foundations of psychology, psychological research, the human brain, sensation, perception, altered states of consciousness, infancy and childhood, adolescence, adulthood, stress, and psychological disorders.  The course consists of investigations, discussions, in-class projects, experiments, and research projects.
