Elective - Psychology II Course Description

Grades 11-12

Prerequisite:  Successful completion of Psychology I.

Psychology II is the continuation of material learned from Psychology I with a greater emphasis on the body and mind and how they function.  In this course you will learn how the systems of the body impact us, the role of sensation and perception, thinking and intelligence, stress and health, and methods of therapy for individuals who suffer from psychological disorders.  The course consists of investigations, discussions, in-class projects, experiments, and research projects.
