Student Support Services

Student Support Services include prevention, intervention, acceleration, enrichment, transition, counseling, and nursing services for students and families. Student support services professionals provide direct services for all children and youth who are experiencing problems that create barriers to learning. Our support for students is provided in many different ways. Direct services are provided by means such as education, counseling, consultation and individual assessment. In addition, student support services personnel provide parent training and education, community collaboration and other supportive services provided by agencies throughout the Centre County Region. Student Support Services are an essential component of comprehensive school programing.
