Head Coach Jeff Denger

Jeff has been with LRS coaching staff for the last five years supporting the program and its year round efforts to enhance the development of Lady Ram players by providing opportunities to participate on competitive winter, spring and summer travel teams. He has been coaching and mentoring youth soccer for the past 11 years in support of PV AYSO, BSA and Penn United Soccer Academy organizations.

Jeff started playing soccer in 3rd grade and continued to play through 12th grade at Owen J. Roberts High School. He attended the Penn State University starting at the Hazleton Campus where he was able to play his freshman and sophomore years for the PSU Hazleton team. Jeff works as a Manufacturing Engineer for the McLanahan Corporation in Hollidaysburg and lives in Centre Hall with his family.

Andy is in his seventh year coaching soccer in Penns Valley: two years for the Jr High boys team and his third year assisting with the Lady Rams. He started playing soccer at age 5, continuing through high school and graduating from Milton Area High School. Andy has also played in the North Central Penn league and for Pennsylvania College of Technology. He volunteers by coaching his two sons and other AYSO teams. Andy works for the Penns Valley School District as a Technology Education Teacher and lives in Mifflinburg with his family.

Volunteer Coach Rich Whitman

Rich has been with the LRS coaching staff since 2012 providing technical and tactical training.  The prior six years he supported year round player development for the Penns Valley Youth Soccer program. His coaching experience includes travel teams in both PA West and EPYSA; supporting age divisions U6-U18.  Rich holds a USSF E License as well as ASYO coaching certificates and is a certified Regional Referee.

Rich is a 1984 Alumni of Penns Valley.


Volunteer Assistant Hayley Wildeson 

Hayley joined the senior high LRS coaching staff in 2012 while pursuing an undergraduate degree at Penn State. A former high school player from Chambersburg, Pa., Hayley provides support for both the coaches and players throughout the year. Going into what will be her 5th season with the Lady Rams, Hayley is incredibly appreciative of the opportunity that she has had to be part of such a remarkable team and supportive community.
