    All families in the Rebersburg School community are invited to participate in the school-wide family read aloud project.  The book that has been chosen is The Mouse and the Motorcycle by Beverly Cleary.  Families who participate will receive a free copy of the book funded through the PVASD Act 48 minigrant.  Activities such as discussion questions and vocabulary will be provided. 

     The Reading Specialist and School Librarian will host a parent workshop on using read aloud strategies.  Watch this site for more information about the date and time of this event. 

      Throughout the Rebersburg Reads event, children will have the opportunity to participate in fun trivia questions and at-home projects.  This will provide parents and students an opportunity to share time together away from TV and video games. 

       This exciting 4-5 week project will culminate in a shared discussion and movie watching event.   We hope you can take part in this fantastic opportunity.
