Welcome to Mr. Leah's 4th Grade Class

This is my second year at Penns Valley Area Elementary school and I am beyond excited to be a Ram! I have 7 years of teaching experience and I love that I get to teach students in the district that I live in.  I have previously taught in Nashville, Tennessee, and Mifflin County.  My #1 goal is making students the BEST that they can be!  Feel free to look through the links to find more information about our classroom, school, useful links, and educational games for students!

Parents/Guardians,

If you have signed the Acceptable Use of Technology document, then your child will have their iPad at home to use Zoom and/or upload the assignments online.  If you haven’t filled out that form, your child will have the exact same assignment as the rest of the class and could still hop on Zoom (if another piece of technology is available) between 8:15-10:15 AM so that they can get a mini lesson and I can answer any questions about the assignment.  Students that don’t have their iPad will only need to complete the printed materials and then return them to me the next day that we are in school.

In the likely event that we have an FID day on Thursday I wanted to give you a rundown of the day.

  • ELA will start at 8:15, the students will need to be on Zoom and ready with the class materials at that time.
  • The link is https://pvasd.zoom.us/j/6470205838
  • The same link will be used for math which will start at 9:15.  My Zoom link can also be found on the school website OR on the SeeSaw link that your child has on their iPad (if they have their device.
  • Music class will be held at 11:55 and the link can be found at https://pvasd.zoom.us/j/8626455908?pwd=V0NVbkFxN2gxdVl0TzArc3BobFdZdz09     password: 504683

If your child has their iPad they can (but don’t have to) submit their assignment on SeeSaw.  I will accept the assignment on their first day that they come back to school.

If you have any questions at all, please contact me at [email protected]

Thank you,

Mr. Leah
