Abby Walters - Special Education/Lifeskills: Grades 10-12

Hello! My name is Mrs. Walters and I’m excited to be a new member of the Penns Valley School District. I am originally from Gettysburg, PA but have spent many years living and teaching in Pittsburgh, PA before moving to State College two years ago. I have been a teacher for 15 years, teaching students with multiple disabilities and visual impairments. I obtained my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in education from the Indiana University of PA and additional teaching certifications from The University of Pittsburgh.

When I am not teaching, I am busy at home with two young daughters, my husband, and two dogs. We have been Penn State fans our whole lives and our excited to have settled in the area!
