Teaching Philosophy
I strive to be a firm but friendly educator who builds strong, trusting relationships with students. I believe deeply in a strength based approach where every child brings unique talents, perspectives, and potential to the classroom. My goal is always to meet students where they are, academically, socially, and emotionally, and provide the support they need to grow with confidence.
I prioritize students’ emotional well-being and self-regulation, knowing that skill building in these areas is just as important as academics. While I hold high expectations and push students to reach their personal best, I also recognize the importance of celebrating progress in all its forms. Ultimately, I hope students leave my room not just stronger learners, but stronger people!
