About Me
Hello and welcome!
My name is Kayla Warford, and I am a Learning Support Teacher at Penns Valley Elementary School. I am a recent transplant from Washington State, and I’m thrilled to be part of the Penns Valley community. In my role, I support students receiving Special Education services through both small-group instruction and push-in support within the general education classroom.
Before joining the Penns Valley Area School District, I spent four years teaching in a self-contained Special Education classroom in Kent, Washington. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences with a minor in Education from the University of Washington in 2020, followed by my Master of Education in 2024.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time outdoors such as gardening, hiking, and hosting cozy bonfires with friends and family. I also love baking, reading, and relaxing with a good puzzle.
I’m looking forward to a fantastic year of learning, growth, and partnership!
