About Me
I am proud to be in my 20th year of teaching Health and Physical Education, a career that truly reflects who I am. Teaching has always been more than just a profession for me — it’s a passion. I love helping students build confidence, develop healthy habits, discover their strengths, and learn the value of teamwork and perseverance. Watching students grow, both in skill and character, is what keeps me inspired year after year.
Beyond the classroom, coaching is another huge part of my life. I coach youth basketball and softball, and I also help coach a local travel softball team. There’s nothing better than being on the field or court, helping young athletes build skills, learn life lessons, and experience the joy of competition and teamwork.
My family and I live a very active and busy life, with all three of our kids involved in sports and other activities. We’re often heading from one practice, game, or event to another — and we wouldn’t have it any other way! Being surrounded by sports and positive activities is something that brings us together and keeps our family strong.
In my free time, you’ll most likely find me coaching, camping, gardening, or simply spending quality time with my family. Whether in the classroom, on the field, or at home, I’m grateful to do what I love every day.
