Directions to Away Games

Directions to Area Schools 

Altoona:

1. Go West on PA-45 to US-322 (State College Bypass).
2. Go West on US-322 to Port Matilda (about 18 miles).
3. Go South on US-220 (I-99) to Altoona
4. Take 17th Street Exit right toward Altoona.
5. Go through traffic light intersection up and over hill and turn right on Sixth Avenue.

To get to Mansion Park soccer field:

1. From US-220 take Frankstown Exit.
2. From exit ramp, turn left.
3. Go to intersection with 4-lane highway (Pleasant Valley Blvd.)
4. Turn Left
5. It is a few blocks to intersection that says left PA-36 South turn RIGHT
6. 6-8 blocks ahead is the field.

Bald Eagle Area:

1. Go West on PA-45 to PA-144 (Old Fort)
2. Go North on PA-144 to PA-26 (Pleasant Gap)
3. Turn right on PA-26
4. Follow PA-26 to I-80
5. Take I-80 West to Milesburg Exit
6. From exit ramp, bear right onto US-220 South (toward Altoona).
7. Follow US-220 South about 2-3 miles
8. High school is on the right

Bellefonte:

1. Go West on PA-45 to PA-144 (Old Fort)
2. Go North on PA-144 to PA-26 (Pleasant Gap)
3. Turn right on PA-26
4. Follow PA-26 toward I-80 (not TO I-80)
5. Take Bellefonte exit (PA-550) toward Bellefonte
6. Go about 1 mile and pass Burger King on the right
7. Turn right after Burger King and follow street straight to the junior high school. Field is on right of junior high school.

Bishop Guilfoyle:
Go West on PA-45 to US-322W (State College Bypass)
Go West on US 322 to I-99
Go Southwest on I-99 towards Altoona to 17th Street.
Go West on 17th St. (bear right)
The High School is on Pleasant Valley Boulevard

Clearfield:

1. Go West on PA 45 to PA 144 (Old Fort)
2. Go North on PA 144 to US 220
3. Go Northeast on US 220 to I-80 West
4. Go West on I-80 to the Clearfield Exit #19 and go left off of the exit
5. Go four or five miles to the third light
6. Go straight through the fifth toward Hyde (you will cross a bridge)
7. Continue for about 1 ½ miles and the school will be on the right
8. The soccer fields are behind the far right end of the building

East Juniata:

1. Go West on PA 45 to PA 144 (Old Fort)
2. Go South on PA 144 to US 322 (Potters Mills)
3. Go South on Us 322 to Mifflintown Exit (about 34 miles)
4. GO North on PA 35 through McAlisterville
5. The High School is on the left side of PA 35 about 4 miles past McAlisterville

Hollidaysburg:

1. Go West on PA 45 to US 322W (State College Bypass)
2. Go West on US 322 to Port Matilda
3. Go South on US 220 (I-99) to Altoona
4. Take the Frankstown Exit and follow South PA 36 to Hollidaysburg, about three miles.
5. Turn right one block BEFORE the first traffic light in Hollidaysburg (Junior High is one block ahead)
6. Go one block past the Junior High and turn right to get to the High School

Hughesville:

1. Go West on PA 45 to PA 144 (Old Fort)
2. Bo North on PA 144 to PA 550
3. Go Northeast on PA 550 to I-80 EAST
4. Go East on I-80 E to I-180 (Exit 31B to Muncy)
5. Go West on I-180 to PA 405
6. Go North on PA 405 to Hughesville (left at light)
7. Turn left just after Suzuki dealer to go to soccer stadium.

Huntingdon (Detwiler Field):

1. Go West on PA 45 to Old Fort
2. Go West on PA 45 to Pine Grove Mills (about 18 miles)
3. Go South on PA 26
4. Detwiler Field is on the left just before entering the town of Huntingdon.

Mifflin County:

1. Go West on PA 45 to PA 144 (Old Fort)
2. Go South on PA 144 to Potters Mills
3. Go East on US 322 to Burnham Exit
4. From exit ramp, turn left
5. Pass the shopping center on the left
6. Go straight through the first traffic light, and turn right at the second light.
7. Go about ½ mile and turn right just past Dunkin Donuts
8. The High School is just up the hill.

Midd-West:

1. Go East on PA 45 to Mifflinburg
2. Go South on PA 104 to Middleburg
3. From traffic light follow US 522 North
4. The road bends left, and crosses a small bridge
5. Go straight ahead, the High School is on the right about ½ mile

Mifflinburg:

1. Go East on PA 45 to Mifflinburg (make sure to stay under the speed limit through Harleton-the speed trap is there)
2. Go through two traffic lights then turn right on First Street.
3. It is one block to the High School.

Moshannon Valley:

1. Go West on PA 45 to US 322 W (State College Bypass)
2. Go West on US 322 to Phillipsburg
3. In Downtown Phillipsburg turn left on PA 53 to Houtzdale-10 miles.
4. To get to the High School, continue on PA 53 through Houtzdale about 4 miles
5. The High School is on the left.

Phillipsburg-Osceola:

1. Go West on PA 45 to US 322 (State College Bypass)
2. Go West on US 322 to Philipsburg
3. Turn left at the second traffic light (Centre St-PA 350)
4. Follow about 1 mile to the top of the hill-a sign marks the entrance to the school
5. Turn left and drive past the cemetery-the High School is several blocks ahead.

Richland:

1. Go West on PA 45 to US 322 W (State College Bypass)
2. Go West on US 322 to US 220
3. Go Southwest on US 220 passing by Altoona to US 22
4. Go West on US 22 to Us 219
5. Go West on US 219 towards Johnstown to PA 56
6. Go Northwest on PA 56 to Johnstown
7. The High School is on Highfield Avenue.

Tyrone:

1. Go West on PA 45 to PA 144 (Old Fort)
2. Go West on US 322 to Port Matilda
3. Go South on US 220 (I-99) to traffic light
4. Go straight through the light into Tyrone (High School is near hospital, you can follow hospital signs)
5. Turn right on PA 453 North
6. Go two blocks, then right on Lincoln Street.
7. Turn left on West 15th street
8. Turn left on Clay Ave., High School is on the right.

West Branch:

1. Go West on PA 45 to PA 144 (Old Fort)
2. Go North on PA 144 to Pleasant Gap
3. Turn right on PA 26
4. Follow PA 26 to I-80
5. Take I-80 West to Kylertown Exit
6. Go South on PA 53 about 1 mile to a “Y” intersection
7. PA 53 continues to the left but you must stay right
8. The High School is on the right about ¼ mile ahead.

Westmont:

1. Go West on PA 45 to US 322 W (State College Bypass)
2. Go West on US 322 to US 220
3. Go Southwest on US 220 passing by Altoona to US 22
4. Go West on US 22 to Ebensburg
5. Take US 219 South toward Johnstown
6. Get on West 56 Bypass (says to Airport)
7. Go all the way to Johnstown, and take Bedford Street Exit.
8. At the light go straight ½ block, and then right after crossing x-crossing go left over the bridge.
9. Stay on the road until you have a turn, then turn left and go up a steep hill (Menoher Street).
10. Continue on the road until you hit the 4th light.
11. Make a right at the light and at first stop sign go straight
12. Go right at the second stop sign.
